The girls’ cross country team enters the 2008 season with hopes of capturing the FAVC Buckeye Division title and qualifying as a team to Regionals. Led by seniors Lacee Kurtz and Rabekkah Randall, both 2007 Regional qualifiers, and supported by first-year Varsity runners junior Kelly Johnson and freshmen Lorin Conti and Denielle Telting, the city's top 8th grader from last season, the team is poised for a breakthrough season. A number of other returning and rookie runners will help push the team to success this season. The girls displayed the effort and determination during off-season training necessary to realize their goal of becoming one of the best cross country teams in the school’s history.
The Eagles will once again host some of the city’s finest runners at the Milford Invitational Saturday, September 13 on the high school campus. Come out to support the team!
