Connie Serger, Milford High School Senior, has signed her letter of commitment as a cheerleader for the College of Mount St. Joseph where she plans to study Nursing. Serger was a three time letter winner for the Milford Cheerleading Program. She received the Milford Athletic Department ‘Eagle Award’ her sophomore year for hard work, dedication and discipline in cheerleading. She was also on the M.H.S honor role throughout all four years of high school. Connie is the daughter of Gerry and Paula Serger. Congratulations!
It is a great privilege to become an MHS cheerleader and this season will be filled with fun, excitement and hard work. It is our goal to develop confident, poised, academically oriented athletes. Cheerleading can be time consuming but very rewarding! There is a tremendous sense of pride in taking on a leadership role such as this and becoming part of a group with a reputation of being the best. Cheerleaders represent their school as positive role models, as well as building spirit and enthusiasm! Cheerleaders today do so much more than just lead cheers. Milford Cheerleaders support all athletic teams as well as many community and citywide fundraisers and events. The Milford High School cheerleading program looks to continue the excellent tradition of sportsmanship and talent again this year!

Tuesday April 20th 6:00-8:00 PM MJHS Gym
Wednesday April 21st 6:00-8:00 PM MJHS Gym
Thursday April 22nd 6:00-8:00 PM MJHS Gym
You are encouraged to attend all the clinic dates. All material for tryouts will be taught during these 3 days. A portion of your overall score comes from your performance at clinic days.
TRYOUT DATE:

Each candidate will be notified personally that evening as to whether or not they make a squad.
CAMPS:
Your attendance is mandatory at the Miami University UCA cheer camp and youth camp:
UCA Cheer Camp – July 10th-13th
Milford Community Football Cheer Camp – July 26th – 30th from 5:30-8:30
(cheer camp time is from 6-8 you have to be there from 5:30-8:30 Friday’s time will be given at a later time since we have to set up for the exhibition)
WELCOME MEETING
Tuesday April 27th 7:00 PM MHS CAFETERIA cheerleaders will need to arrive at 5:00
All 2010 - 2011 Cheerleaders and parents are expected to attend.

Informational meeting for cheerleading tryouts for the season 2010-2011 will be on March 23rd from 2:30-3:30 in the Eagle room.
