I am Earl Willson, one of the 8th grade football coaches. The Junior High guidance office has a packet of information with physical forms, Emergency information and so forth that can be picked up by calling Mrs. Stevens at the Junior High.

The Junior High coaches are in the process of putting together practice times for August. The first practice will be on Thursday, August 7 from 6-8 PM. Some people/papers may tell you 5-7 PM but there was a need to go from 6-8 PM. At this point in time, we plan to practice most evenings before school opens from 6-8 PM with equipment handout on the morning of Saturday, August 9. With changes in our coaching staff and the change in school times for the coming year, the coaches are finalizing practice times for August, September and October. These printed times will be available at the end of next week at the Junior High or you can get them the first practice on August 7.

Once school begins, practice will be after school. With the new school start times, the coaching staff will finalize the actual practice times next week but we are looking at practice most days from probably 2:30-4:30 PM.

The Junior High does not practice on Saturdays (except for equipment hand out on August 9 and a scrimmage on Saturday, August 30) or Sundays. Unfortunately, the scrimmage on August 30 falls on Labor Day weekend but we had to go with this date. We understand that some players may be absent due to other commitments.
