Ashley is a 2018 Milford graudate and played soccer and lacrosse. She also helped with the wrestling program as a Pinnette. Ashley on to get my Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness with emphasis in Athletic Training from Mount St. Joseph University. The Mount is also where she played soccer for 2 years winning a Conference Championship, making a NCAA National appearance, while also playing lacrosse. Ashley went on to receive her Master of Science in Athletic Training rom Xavier University. Certified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Member of NATA, GLATA, OATA, and GCATA.

Andrea Edmisten graduated high school in 2019 from Eastern Brown where I participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball for the school. She went on to play collegiate softball at Wilmington College and graduated with a bachelors at Wilmington College in 2022, and a my masters from Wilmington in 2024. She loves watching a variety of sports, especially Cincinnati teams (WhoDey). Andrea is very excited to become an Eagle and be a part of this athletic program!

Tanner Harned serves as an Athletic Trainer for Milford High School. Originally from Berea, KY, Tanner first came to the Cincinnati area to attend Northern Kentucky University. After graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, he worked at Lexington Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine prior to returning to school to pursue his masters degree at Auburn University. After graduating from Auburn, Tanner returned to Cincinnati, working at Cincinnati Children’s hospital for five years in their athletic training outreach program for Cincinnati Public Schools. Tanner came to Beacon in 2022, becoming Head Athletic Trainer for the Florence Y’alls baseball team for two years. Outside of work, Tanner enjoys spending time with his wife, Sicari, and their daughter, Indy.

The Milford Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Josh McDaniel as Assistant Athletic Director. McDaniel, formerly of ProForce Sports Performance, will join the department headed by Director of Athletics Aaron Zupka.

McDaniel has served as the Chief Performance Officer at ProForce for the last year. ProFroce is a partner organization of Milford Athletics, providing strength and conditioning coaching to Milford student-athletes. McDaniel has served in a variety of roles at ProForce since joining the organization in August 2018. In the Fall 2020, McDaniel led the grant writing process for Milford’s new turf field. As a result of his efforts, the Eagles were awarded a $250,000 NFL Grassroots Foundation grant.

“We are very fortunate to add someone of Josh's caliber to our Milford Athletic Department staff!” Zupka stated. “Josh already has great familiarity with our student-athletes and coaches through his time at ProForce that will allow him to hit the ground running. In addition to his stellar background, he and his family have strong ties to the ECC and the Milford Community which is a huge plus. We've got ourselves a rising star in the making with Josh! Get excited Eagles, we landed a good one!”

“I’m excited to take on the role of Assistant Director of Athletics,” McDaniel added. “I have loved working with Milford High School’s teams in a coaching role for the past three and a half years, and I can’t wait to continue to serve our coaches, student-athletes, and community in this position. Let ‘M’ Know!”

McDaniel is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS of Science in Education as an Exercise Science major. He went on to earn a Master’s in Sports Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2020.

Kaitlyn Paciolla Administrator Strength/Performance Coach more details

The Milford High School Department of Athletics, through its partnership with ProForce, is pleased to welcome Kaitlyn Paciolla as the Eagles’ new Strength and Conditioning Coach. In her new role, Paciolla will work closely with all of the Milford athletic teams.

Paciolla comes to Milford after spending this spring as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Mason High School. She was also a personal and small group trainer at Queen City Kettlebell. Paciolla has also gained experience as a Sales Associate at Orange Theory Fitness and as a Gymnastics Coach at Kids First Sports Center.

This April, Paciolla earned her Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Cincinnati. While attending UC, she was also a member of the school’s club gymnastics team. Prior to UC, Paciolla was a graduate of Mason High School.

"We are quite fortunate to have a rising young professional in the Sports Performance Field coming to Milford like Kaitlyn!” stated Milford Director of Athletics Aaron Zupka. “She is a go-getter and will hit the ground running with our student-athletes and teams this summer. Kaitlyn has diverse experience as an athlete, trainer, and coach that will serve her will in this new leadership role at MHS. I'm really excited for our female teams to have a positive female role model in this position to help encourage, grow, and develop more utilization of our weight room and performance resources. But make no mistake, Kaitlyn has great experience training male sports teams and will continue to push all of our MHS athletic teams to a different level to make them stronger, tougher, and more prepared for success!”

At its March meeting, the Milford Board of Education approved Mr. Aaron Zupka, C.A.A. as the new athletic director for the district effective July 1, 2019. Zupka has been the athletic director for Middletown City Schools since 2016. Prior to Middletown, he was the athletic director at Clark Montessori for four years.

“We could not be more excited to have Aaron to lead our athletics department. He is student-centered and will bring tremendous energy to lead our athletics program to the next level,” said Milford High School Principal Josh Kauffman.

“I’m extremely honored to be the next athletic director at Milford High School. I feel I bring an immediate jolt of energy and enthusiasm to my work and that will be contagious to all who are around me,” Zupka said. “My main focus will be building positive student relationships and culture while looking to modernize how we do business in the athletic department. I can’t wait to get going and meet all the wonderful students, staff, coaches, and families in the Milford School District. I’m ready to soar with the Eagles!”

Zupka is a Cleveland native and graduated with his bachelor of science degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business from Xavier University. His past work experience also includes serving as the Assistant Athletic Director at Walnut Hills High School and as a Program Director for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
