Treasurer
Milford Exempted Village School District (MEVSD) proudly welcomes Doug Ackermann as Treasurer. Doug brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience in both business and education and is poised to guide the district with deep expertise in school finance and fiscal stewardship.
A proud Milford native, Doug is especially excited to support the very community that helped shape him. With a strong belief in giving back, he looks forward to ensuring the district’s financial health and stability for years to come. Most recently, he served as Treasurer for Lockland Local Schools, where he led key financial reforms—saving hundreds of thousands of dollars, improving fiscal ratings, and guiding the district out of Fiscal Caution.
Doug holds a degree in Economics from The College of Wooster and specialized training in Government and Non-Profit Accounting from Xavier University. He also has a longstanding commitment to supporting education through careful fiscal management and collaborative leadership.
