ECC 10-4

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Katie Heller: Girls Soccer

Katie scored our game-winner against a very tough Anderson team to help us reach the top of the league standings. She is consistently giving her all for her team, and the Anderson game was no different. She is an important piece of our success!

Allie Hinners: Girls Cross Country

Allie ran a big PR on Saturday at the Ross Invitational! Her day-to-day consistency and willingness to challenge herself have led to her having a very successful season to this point.

Liam Kegley: Boys Soccer

Liam had a goal and an assist in a challenging 3-1 league win over Anderson, and he scored our only goal against a tough Beavercreek team in our 1-1 tie. Liam is a quiet, hardworking young man who has a gift for scoring.

Sarah Schlie: Girls Golf

In our final match of the regular season, Sarah posted her career-low 9-hole score. Way to go Sarah!

Zoee Shepherd: Girls Water Polo

Zoee has been a standout defensive player for our team this season, leading the team in steals.

Milford Football Trio

Senior DB Jayden Bodley has shown consistent improvement since switching to defense after week one. This week against Lebanon, Bodley finished with a career-high 13 tackles (10 solo), more than doubling his previous best. He also came up with a key pass break-up late in the game. Junior WR Caylob Brasington recorded his second 100-yard receiving game of the year, finishing the Lebanon game with a personal-best 10 catches for 123 yards. He also caught his sixth TD of the year. Sophomore QB Aiden Wehrum topped the 300-yard passing mark for the fourth time in six starts. For the night, he was 25-of-40 passing for 345 yards. He also threw three touchdowns and ran for another.

Boys Cross Country Trio

Danny Haders (10), Isaac Dumont (11) and Keegan Oldendick (12) all led their squads at the Ross Invitational this past weekend. All three of them have been focusing on the process, staying present with the work in front of them and all their hard work paid off in their final regular season race.
