Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Milford Volleyball

Milford volleyball would like to recognize seniors Ava Bowen and Cam Burton for providing great leadership during summer activities and preseason. Both are leading the way with effort, service to the team and staff, and communication!

Lizzie Haney
Senior, Milford Golf
Lizzie has played golf since the seventh grade. As we start our season, Lizzie has already shot her best score of a 43 in our matches with Harrison and then Mercy McAuley. She was the match medalist in both matches! She has also recorded a birdie. Lizzie has worked hard in the off-season with lessons, practice, and playing in summer tournaments to better her game. Off the course, Lizzie is enrolled in CCP classes at The University of Cincinnati! I can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes this year.

Henry Newman
Sophomore, Milford Cross Country
Henry has had a great summer training season highlighted by his consistency, hard work, and positive team attitude. He is primed for a great season and is planning to open his sophomore campaign at the Lakota East Fall Classic on August 24.

Mahima Vasa
Senior, Milford Cross Country
Mahima had an excellent summer of training, not missing a single training session. This consistency in training allowed her to improve her time trial by over three minutes from last season. Mahima looks poised to close out her career with a stellar senior season.
