Brian K. Crellin, D.O, is a widely experienced physician who focuses his considerable talents to provide individualized patient care. He is dedicated to not only treating his patients, but also to teaching them about their conditions and encouraging them to continue learning about them too. He strongly believes that viewing the body as a system means the best treatment for a specific ailment or injury also serves that system.

A highly honored student, Dr. Crellin earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served an internship at the Doctors Hospital of Stark County (Massillon, OH). Upon medical school graduation, he served an orthopedic surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

While completing that esteemed fellowship at Penn, Dr. Crellin served as covering physician for professional and collegiate sports teams in the Philadelphia area. His individualized approach to patient care and his focus on treating a body’s interrelated system makes him a great orthopedic care provider to professional athletes, weekend warriors, young athletes and older patients alike.

After an injury in high school, he could have been devastated. Instead, that injury was a key factor in helping Dr. Crellin pursue sports medicine as a career. The care he received truly influenced the outcome – not just healing the injury but setting him on the path to becoming a caring doctor.

And now, Dr. Crellin has been caring for people for years. His experience is wide and deep. Whether older patients feeling the effects of arthritis or little league pitchers with sore elbows, he listens to the patients and uses his expertise to thoroughly evaluate and diagnose properly. “The hope is to avoid an injury and I can give direction on that front,” said Dr. Crellin, “but if someone does get hurt, I work to help them to hopefully get them well again.”
