SETTING THE SCENE: In a match-up that was postponed last week because of inclement weather, the Milford High School girls basketball team will wrap up the regular season when it hosts Kings on Monday night. The Senior Night contest will tip off at 7:30 p.m. The Eagles are looking to build on the momentum of a come-from-behind win over Withrow on Saturday afternoon that pushed the Eagles’ record to 7-14 on the year. Prior to Monday’s tip, Milford’s senior class of Kyrsten Brown, Brookelyn Edgar, Maddie Plucinski, Sydney Poleski and Bryn Rolfsen will be honored for their contributions the Eagles’ program.

GAME REWIND
Milford used a 16-0 run in the second half to overcome an 11-point deficit and pull off a come-from-behind 34-32 win over Withrow. The Eagles really turned up the defensive pressure, forcing 13 Tigers’ turnovers in the final quarter and a half. Withrow had a chance to tie the game, but Desire Oats’ jumper at the buzzer rimmed out, allowing Milford to escape with the win.
