ECC Athletes of the Week September 9

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Addyson Althammer
Junior, Milford Golf
Addyson has been a member of the Milford golf program since attending junior high. Addy has been working on her golf diligently year round, and she even has a swing coach to help her improve her game. On the weekends, you will find her playing or practicing to prepare for the following week. This past week, Addy was our team medalist twice and posted a low score of 42 at Reeves Golf Course in our Match with Anderson. Congratulations Addy!

Grace Miracle and Baechle Mathes
Milford Volleyball
Garce and Baechle, both freshmen, have quietly carried the offensive load over the last two weeks and are leading the team in kills. Both have worked very hard on out-of-system swings and continue to improve every time they step on the court both offensively and defensively. Keep it up Grace and Baechle!

Christian Felix

Christian recorded his second double-figure tackles game of the season during week three against Winton Woods. Against the Warriors, Christian had a career-high 11 tackles, including one for loss. He currently leads the Milford defense with 23 tackles on the season.

Jack Hornschemeier

Jack ran a career PR at the Rick Weinheimer Classic in Columbus, Indiana, this past Saturday. It was Jack's best race not just in terms of time, but also in terms of strategy, consistency, and effort. Jack has had a great summer of training and his development as a racer is helping his team succeed!
