Megie Funeral Home, a staple in the Milford community for over 100 years, was officially honored as a Title Sponsor of the Milford Athletics program prior to the home football game vs. Loveland on September 13. Tom and Stacie Megie, owners, were recognized on the field pre-game and the Megie name will be a fixture on the Eagle Stadium Powered by Cullen Electric digital scoreboard for years to come.
“For years we played in an aging stadium with a scoreboard that was antiquated and you could not see anytime the sun shined on it,” stated Milford Director of Athletics Aaron Zupka. “We’re beyond proud of our new Eagle Stadium Powered by Cullen Electric 2.0 and the many first-class amenities we can now offer to our fans, including the state-of-the-art scoreboard and video board.
“This could not have been possible without the tremendous support of our sponsors, including our generous Title Sponsor from Megie Funeral Home, Tom & Stacie Megie,” Zupka continued. “They are a true definition of a community-business and they are backing that with their support of our school district and our student-athletes/fans. I can thank them enough for all they have done to make our experience on game nights the best in the city!”
Megie is locally owned and operated and has been serving the Milford community with care and compassion for over 100 years. The Megies have generously committed $100,000 in sponsorship over the next 10 years in support of Milford Athletics.
