ECC Athletes of the Week October 21

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Luke Brand and Andrew Crouch
Milford Football

A pair of seniors played key roles in helping the Eagles to a big Senior Night win over Little Miami. Luke Brand was responsible for five total touchdowns, rushing for three and passing for two. Through the air, Luke was 22-of-26 passing for 293 yards, along with the two scores. Defensively, lineman Andrew Crouch had a monster game, snaring his first career interception (returned 33 yards), while recording a pair of sacks, a third tackle for loss, and a quarterback hurry.

Henry Craycraft
Junior, Milford Cross Country

Henry ran a season’s best when it mattered most at the District Championship meet. His effort helped the team advance to Regionals for the third season in a row.

Molly Obermeyer
Junior, Milford Volleyball

Molly, a junior pin hitter, had 22 kills and two blocks with a hitting percentage of 0.230 in two matches on the week. Molly has worked hard all season and is a great teammate. She is a versatile hitter and solid passer, and her game IQ has grown throughout the season. Keep it up, Molly!

Katie Reckman
Sophomore, Milford Cross Country

Katie had her second breakout race in two weeks on Saturday. After winning the JV ECC race last Saturday, she finished 11th in the District ‘B’ race this week helping the team to a District runner-up finish.
