Aubree Adams and Rachel Morgan
Milford Volleyball
Junior middle hitter Aubree Adams had an amazing 11 blocks in the District Championship against Oak Hills! Aubree racked up 16 blocks and nine kills in two matches on the week. She continues to work hard on all facets of her game and always pushes herself and her teammates. Great job, Aubree! Junior libero Rachel Morgan had an unbelievable 40 digs in the District Championship match! Rachel accumulated 56 digs and four aces for the week. Rachel is an absolute force on defense and refuses to let anything touch the floor. Another outstanding performance, Rachel!
DJ Chadwell
Senior, Milford Cross Country
DJ finished his cross country career at Milford this past Saturday at Regionals. DJ has had a massive impact on the XC program, being a key member of three straight teams to qualify for Regionals. He has given much to the program and will be missed!
Milford Girls Cross Country Team
The team of Elle Campbell (10), Katie Reckman (10), Shahd Masud (10), Claire McFarland (12), Maren Barnett (9), Lauren Johnson (10), and Mahima Vasa (12) finished fourth at the Regional Championship. This group became the first Milford girls cross country team to ever qualify for the State Championship. Their hard work and consistency all season have allowed them to raise the program to new heights.
Milford Football Trio
Seniors Luke Brand and Carter Ings, along with junior David Kittrell, all had big performances in the Eagles' regular season finale against Turpin. Luke finished the night with a season-high 310 passing yards, completing 23-of-43 passes. He threw a pair of touchdown passes and rushed for a third. Carter was the recipient of both of the touchdown passes, hauling in scores of 46 and seven yards. He finished the night with eight catches for a career-high 167 yards. David, forced into action as a defensive back for the first time this season, responded with a pair of interceptions along with six tackles. He also played snaps on offense, adding a pair of catches for 11 yards.
